CARIBBEAN real estate company Caribbean Real Estate, which has been bought by the Spanish group Anadarko, will develop a £20m home in Jacksonville.
CaribbeanReal Estate said in a statement: “Anadarkos has agreed to purchase the house for £20.7 million in the Jacksonville area.
It is expected to be completed in the first half of 2019.”
The company said the purchase of the house is subject to customary approvals and “will enable the company to achieve its business objectives”.
A spokeswoman for Anadarks chief executive Paul Gee said the company “believes in creating new opportunities in the Caribbean”.
“The Jacksonville location is ideal for Anads expansion of its commercial operations, which include the development of a new residential property in Florida,” she said.
“We are excited to add the Anadas Caribbean franchise to our portfolio of regional, low-density, residential developments and to further explore the Caribbean region.”
