A few days ago, we published a list of the top Minneapolis real estate brokers who were working to help new homeowners and renters, but in the weeks since, we have heard more from other potential brokers.
So we decided to dig deeper to see what we could find about what they are doing right now.
We decided to start with Minneapolis-based Real Estate Solutions, the company that was the original home to Minneapolis’ first real estate broker.
Real Estate Solutions was founded by Brian Minkler, who now runs the company.
He is now CEO and chairman of the company, which offers real estate services in Minnesota.
He told us, “We had a very small group of people who were in Minnesota, and we were the ones that were building the infrastructure to support our industry, and I think we got a good foothold there.
I think there were probably 100 people, maybe more, that started out as part of the community and had a real impact on real estate.”
I think we have the right people at the right time in the right place, and as you move forward we will be able to do what we need to do, and that is really the key for us to be successful in the next 10 to 15 years.
“So we’re excited about the opportunity and I can’t wait to get started with what we’re doing.”
Real Estate Services has expanded its presence in Minneapolis since Minklerman first started running it in the 1990s.
Now, it offers realtors across the Twin Cities and across the country, as well as in Canada.
Minklar has been a longtime broker and owner of several real estate firms in the Twin City, including a successful franchise in South Minneapolis, where he has been in charge for the past 20 years.
We asked Mink for the top real estate jobs he has taken on in the last decade.
He said, “I can’t say enough about the people that have been with us, whether it be my son, his sister, his wife, their wives, their kids, their parents, and so on.
They’ve helped me grow, and they’ve been the backbone of our team.”
Minkler said that he is looking forward to continuing to help his customers, which includes new tenants and their families, who are coming to Minnesota from across the U.S. and beyond.
“It’s not just a good fit for new people, but it’s a great fit for our existing customers as well.
It makes a big difference to them.
It’s not about the money, it’s about what’s best for the customers, and what’s the best for them.””
It’s really rewarding to be a part of what is an incredible opportunity to help people,” Minkar added.
I can honestly say that.””
You can tell they’re really happy to be here and we are here to help them.
I can honestly say that.”
Minks new team is also building a strong relationship with the Minneapolis Police Department.
He said, “[The police] have been really supportive and helpful in our efforts to get people back on the property, and the department has been incredibly helpful in the process of securing their homes.”MINKER’S OWN REACTION to the recent controversy around Minneapolis realtoring firm, Minklers own firm has been less than positive about the company’s response to the controversy surrounding the real estate industry.
MINKERS RESPONSEMinklars response to recent controversy surrounding Minneapolis realtor, Real Estate Systems, was more measured than his response to some of the recent controversies that have arisen over the past few months.
We asked Minks response to these controversies to the news of the realtor scandal in Minneapolis.
He responded with a short statement, which we shared below:In response to a recent article by The Stranger that quoted the CEO of Real Estate System, Minks company, Brian Munkler, denying any wrongdoing, MINKER said that it was inappropriate for the reporter to go on record about the matter.
“The only way you can have a positive conversation about this is to get the facts,” he said.
Munklers statement is an understatement.
We also asked MINKLERS response to criticism that he had “a poor record” when it comes to customer service.
Minks said, the worst criticism he has heard has been that he was too aggressive.
“There are a lot of people that work for me who work very hard and do their best, and it’s just unfortunate that some people have a negative opinion about that,” he added.
Minker said that if someone has a complaint, they should contact him.
“If they need an appointment, they’ll get in touch with me.
I’m available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week,” he noted.
