Police officers were searching for a man wanted in connection with the shooting death of a woman who they said was shot during an argument at a home in a Hollywood neighborhood Friday, Feb. 22, 2019.

The woman was shot multiple times, and she died at a hospital.
Police said she was a transient.
The motive in the case remains unclear.
(Photo: AP/Los Angeles Police Department) A transient was shot and killed during an altercation at a Hollywood home Friday night, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
The shooting happened at about 8:45 p.m. on the 900 block of Pacific Coast Highway in Hollywood.
The department identified the victim as 51-year-old Angelique Martinez.
She was found in the driveway of the home.
She had gunshot wounds to her torso and a gunshot wound to the back of her head, according a news release from the Los Angles Sheriff’s department.
The Sheriff’s Office said they are investigating the case.
The suspect has not been arrested and is at large.
The LAPD said Martinez was a person of interest in a homicide that occurred earlier that night in Hollywood and had been involved in a confrontation with law enforcement.
